Synop /gts data?

Occasionally the synops from France and Germany get missed off and don't appear on Ogimet or cod.edu, is there another source online with this data. What I am missing i this instance is 18z for the 8th November 2025.

I can get them for you tomorrow.  Which ones (WMO identifiers) do you need?  Do you want them in SYNOP format or decoded?

Did you know the GTS is going to be retired by 2030?

I'm thinking of setting up a service that retrieves SYNOPs from the WIS2 network (which is what will supersede the GTS) - just need to find the time to put it together!

Basically it's the  SYNOP format I use, so for France the 07*** series and Germany the 10*** series for the 8th November 18z.

I remember when synops were going to finish back in 2006/2007 but we then got the BUFU decoded back to synop by some dedicated people.

2030 will be 70 years old, but hope to still be around :-)

It would be a shame to lose this fascinating data in the future so I hope someone like yourself or Valor of Ogimet, will find another alternative.
