Occasional slight rain and drizzle until 1030z.  Slight rain started just before 1400z, becoming moderate soon after, and briefly heavy around 1455z.  It has since stopped.  Extensive low stratus this morning, lifting into low stratocumulus by 1100z which broke up around 1200z, with bright periods for a time.  Further layers of stratocumulus and altocumulus above, with some cumulus developing by mid afternoon with the odd Cu med visible to the N.  All cumulus cloud dispersed shortly after the rain started, with some patchy stratus forming during the past half hour.  Moderate or poor visibility initially, becoming good by 1100z, then falling to moderate or poor again after 1400z.  Surface wind NE-E F2 veering S at 1430z.  Maximum temperature so far is 19.7 (1327z).
