Plenty of coastal sunshine today, and still no rain.
It is so much warmer right on the coast than just inland.
To give an idea, currently 12C at Cardinham, 14C at Camborne under the cloud.
In contrast 18C on the hill top airport on Scilly. 18.6C max (so far) at Penzance. Driving back from near Lands End this afternoon the car thermometer was showing 20C, before dropping to 16C under some cloud half way back, and rising back to 18C in Penzance. West Cornwall probably has some of the highest temperatures away from western Scotland. (In the UK that is, I appreciate Marakesh is probly warmer)
A couple of photo's of Cb from a distance.
Out to sea off Gwennap Head. It was almost calm, almost unheard of at Gwennap Head!
Looking inland, the beginnings of an anvil.
Sunny, warm, almost calm - but absolutely no surf, bit of a blow.
