Very wet morning here after a wonderful sunset yesterday which misled the shepherds.
Met Office and BBC got it right though which is encouraging.

Still only a few spots of rain on Scilly, certainly nothing measurable. Not the prolonged warm sunshine of the last couple of days, but some sunny spells pushed the temperature up to around 18.5C up at the hill top airport, so certainly 19c down at some beach locations. Sea felt much warmer today, wind was gently onshore which clearly helped.

Looking good for the next few days. Scilly is dry compared to mainland Cornwall, even coastal locations. The difference mainly in summer, lack of home grown convectional rainfall, andwest of most of the storms drifting up from France

From the beach, looking ESE watching a Cb head towards the mainland.

Not a shepherd in sight.
