My total rain for December is 35.4 mm. Only 30% of average.
My driest December since my records began in 1984.
But my garden is sopping wet.
Little wind, low solar radiation means no evaporation.
I am longing for a drying easterly.
With the block in its preferred location just a bit east of UK, there seems little likelihood of any prolonged spell of easterlies.
I hate winter for this reason.
At least in the other seasons when the sun comes out it gives a chance of things drying up.
Oh well, back to the Prosecco.
