Sunny spells alternated with more cloudy periods and occasional brief slight showers.  More prolonged and heavier showers in the early evening.  Much milder than yesterday – all lying snow thawed overnight.  Light SW wind veered moderate W to NW from early afternoon, falling light again and backing WSW in the evening.
