Wildfires West Cornwall

There have been a few wildfires over the last couple of days. Lizard, Kennack Sands, and this was the view from Sennen to Cape Cornwall earlier today.

It is impossible to see Cape Cornwall through all the smoke. It's also very close to Lands End airport and properties at Nanquidno.

The forecast keeps saying it's less windy in the south compared to recent days. It hasn't been here. It's been very windy today, although it is dropping now (16:45)

Also gusted >40mph at Culdrose. At least it's taken the edge off the temperatures, maximum around 26C - so far. At least it's a little cooler at night now, minimum 18.0C last night.
