Not even any cliff top mist.
Certainly better than the grey cloud forecast for the far SW.
Lovely day so far, in fact even the last name storm went largely unnoticed here. Great the depressions are tracking a long way to the north at the moment.

Looking at the satellite imagery there seems to be much less low cloud in the SW approaches than forecast. The MetO forecast for Penzance has been updated to reflect this. The grey clouds replaced by half suns.
Feels like spring!

Sunshine continues. A stroll along the beach behind Long Rock industrial estate to Marazion. Near calm & it felt warm (well in a coat & hat!) The sand level is high along this stretch due to a complete lack of a SE gale so far this winter. Photo 14:30
There's already noticeably more strength in the sun. Maximum back home in Penzance 11.8C.
