Penzance - Warmest part of the UK.

Not used to saying that in spring, in December perhaps. At the moment it seems to be the case. 

14.3C at noon, warmer than any of the official spots, after another fairly sunny morning.  (Warmest spot  on XcWeather 13C at Culdrose, a very exposed nearby spot)

My 30 year average  April temperature for Penzance is 10.2C. The average Max is 13.6C For the last week (since 18th) every day's maximum has been above that, and there has been a good deal of sunshine. Must stop listening to the forecast!

The sky does have unstable look today, not just the harmless clouds of late, the Cu to the east have a decent vertical extent, but not coming this way.

Also no surf for days, which isn't such good news, though things set to change a bit on that front.
