BBC:
"July has also been very dry. Parts of England have recorded 0% of the rainfall they would normally expect so far in the month.

I think that means it hasn't rained:-)

We've had 2 days with thunder, close on one occasion, still no measurable rain.

With the instability here in the far SW (and accomanying exceptionally warm nights) there'sbeen some stunning sunsets

These photos from Monday are worth a look

No rain here since the 16th June (1.2 mm). Last meaningful (>5.0 mm) rainfall was the 1st June with 12.0 mm.

Gardens front and back have given up. The only shrub/non-tree that hasn't shrivelled up is the wild oregano. Apple trees have dropped all their fruit. One bonus though, the olive tree is covered in olives that are gaining in size everyday. They should end up a good size. That hasn't happened since 2022.

Back above 30°C today and the wind dropped out this afternoon allowing the humidity to climb once again with dewpoints around 20°C.

At halfway through the month sunshine has passed 200 hours today for this July so far. Now that is remarkable.

My point was about not the lack of rain—which I knew about—but the strange use of 0% as if that sounded more scientific.
