Fog patches in the vicinity from shortly after 1700Z Thursday, thickening during the evening.  Temporary clearance of the fog after 0600Z, with some low stratocumulus visible above, then the fog returned from the SW end of the valley over the past half an hour.  Small amounts of cloud overnight (excluding stratus associated with fog), with some low stratocumulus arriving late in the night.  Very good visibility at sunset quickly became poor or very poor, with brief improvements to moderate 0630-0815Z.  Surface wind NE-ENE F2 Thursday afternoon becoming calm or light and variable after 1500Z, then SW F1 after 0200Z.
