Occasional slight rain showers from mid evening until shortly after midnight.  Fog patches further up Ape Dale and in the Marshbrook valley from around sunrise, clearing by 0830Z.  Slight hoar frost late in the night with ice on hard surfaces and the ground becoming frozen on the surface.  Large amounts of cloud at times initially, becoming mostly clear late in the night.  Currently there is a trace of thin stratocumulus over the Long Mynd and some thin cirrus on the northern horizon.  Generally very good visibility, but moderate or poor in some directions around sunrise due to fog patches in the vicinity.  Surface wind SW-WSW F3-4 becoming F1-2 after 0100Z, and light and variable after 0400Z.
