SSE Winds are blowing at force 6 to force 8 across a good part of Ireland and Western Scotland this afternoon. Benbecula (South Uist range) is meaning 37 knots with gusts to 54 knots (62 MPH) at 1600 UTC. If Rita (the next name that adopt a vortex has on it list) had developed and tracked just a little bit further east, then Rita could have also been Lawrence - if that makes any sense!

Meaning 40 gusts to 57 knots (meaning 46 gusts to 66 mph)

Gust to 69 mph at 1800 UTC which is as high at Benbecula than at it was for many of the named storms A to K that fringed the NW..
Mind you that's trumped by the 31°C forecast for Tuesday in the SE, so forget any idea of giving this one a name.
