Superb visibility 1st November
Visibility probably in excess of 100 kilometres.
The sunset picture is of Cnoc Mor, 50 kms distant: it shows just how clear it has been,
But despite the sunshine and temperature of 6.5C, a mere 5 knots (9 km/hr) was enough to produce a nasty chill factor.
