I recorded a hard frost last night.
Min -2.2°C.
This was the lowest temp.since -2.3°C on 18 Mar 2018.
This is the coldest period of weather in fact since the Beast from the East episode
Feb/Mar 2018. This was linked to a weakened polar vortex allowing easterlies to set in.
We have easterlies to look forward to next week. Not as vicious though as 2018 but nonetheless unpleasant.
