What remains of Dorian will pass to the north of Scotland on Wednesday and on Thursday Gabrielle will track across central Scotland. Ex tropical cyclones usually bring with them a lot of extra warmth and moisture but the GFS model doesn't make much of Gabrielle.

Certainly a pleasant warmth has arrived here since yesterday. More breezy today but up to 25C. Nice.

Biggest change in minimum temperatures here. Min of 16.6C last night.
Warmest night since 17.1C on 9th August.
Not too breezy except on coasts facing directly into the wind.
