It's raining !

Yes it is and the radar looks the most promising for weeks. Not enough yet to tip  the first 0.3mm to give me my first measurable rainfall since mid-June. In fact I have not had a day with over 5mm since May 23rd!. Can't wait to watch it flowing down the 3"  wide cracks in my lawn! :-)

Blocked gutter

Two ways we know it has been raining : Cat Bertie comes in wet.  The gutter overflows.

So my intrepid wife dealt with the gutter (I supervised!).  It had needed cleaning for a long time (accumulated moss, etc)

Bertie had dried off before I could get his photo but to illustrate the rain, took this in the garden instead.

Circa 34 mms rain since Sunday lunchtime.
