Plenty of storms up the spine of Cornwall, and across a fair chunk of inland Devon
Lovely sunny day here on the coast. Now there's some SW winds on the horizon the beach might move back to it's normal spot.
Maximum temperature down from yesterdays record of 30.3C to a much more reasonable (purely subjective) 25.8C today. Much cooler today inland for obvious reasons. I spent 30 minutes on the sea front near Newlyn watching a big Cb develop. Possibly the one that caused flooding in Truro. Took a couple of photos. Might upload them later.
Radar showed rain before I emerged this morning, only a trace in the gauge. Maybe tonight.
