Low cloud along the north coast kept the temperature near 10-11C yesterday, whilst on sheltered spots of the south coast it was 15-16C (15.4C in Penzance.)
Lands End airport & Scilly were genererally clear of the fog until afternoon, sadly the backup airprt for Landing (Newquay) wasn't, so the passengers at each end were cofused as to why they were sat around. Most eventually go away.
Grounded Skybus in the sun at Lands End around 11am.
It was a north coast event, not a far west event, as stated by a certain BBC Spotlight forecaster.
