An inland fair weather cloud day today, with low humidity (well compared to the high humidity of many days this summer)
Sennen noon, low water spring tide
I dug out this photo, showing the sort of conditions that have occured on numerous days this spring /summer. Sunny on windward beaches still, but the slightest uplift.
I often think the wording in forecasts "misty on windward coasts & hills" frequently doesn't tell the full story. I await the day when models can forecast accurately where the fog is during these conditions! A bit of local & meteorological knowledge can do a better job. Perhaps this is one area where AI will outscore traditional models?
One from the air over the same spot (Sennen / Gwenver). After a long dry spell, as is evident.
