Already 18C, off for a swim. Could end up the warmest day of the year here, now the winds veered a bit, also increases chance of a shower drifting down from Bodmin Moor.

Currently (13:0 p) around 22C in Penzance, easily the warmest day of the year so far. Around 5 miles away in the north coast sea fog it’s <15C, at least it was at noon. The fog is just reaching Camborne, where it’s been around 7C colder than Penzance.

A day when the new MetO forecast fell down. It said Fog at noon, a bit if a surprise, old forecast was fine. Unbroken sunshine so far, but a fair sized Cu developed over the Lizard and passed well to the south, fading over the sea.
