Dry couple of months, May 54% of normal rainfall, June 52% - so far.
Because of the north coast sea fog and an SST of 15-16C the NCI station on the Island at St. Ives, in persistent fog, showed a maximum of 15.9C - in the early hours!
Maximum of 23.1C in Penzance, but we did have an intermittent sea breeze. It's reasonable to assume the warmest spots of the south coast, where no sea breeze developed, reached around 25C. So close to 10C different to the foggiest parts of the north coast and the south coast - just a few miles apart.
Sunny periods this morning. Much fresher, though warmer at St. Ives!
