Slight rain started minutes ago, although there has been precipitation visible and probably not reaching the ground for almost an hour.  Cumulus has flattened into stratocumulus over the past hour or two.  Medium cloud thickens up at times, and there are castellanus tops visible through gaps.  Some sunny intervals too during this afternoon.  Very good visibility now reduced to good to the SW due to precipitation in that direction.  Surface wind S F3-4 veering SSW-SW since 1300z with gusts to 27 knots.  Maximum temperature so far is 21.8 (1542z).
