The rain cleared around 10:30 to give a mainly sunny afternoon with low cloud based small Cu scudding by. The NW wind picking up to a F4-5, so you needed shelter to get a nice wave. Approx 7.5mm of rain for the event, so enough for farmers & growers as the phrase goes.

Plenty of salt spray in the air.
Maximum temperature 16.2C, but held down to near 14C, despite afternoon sunshine, near the north coast.
Much more cloud visible further up the peninsula
