It's was simply glorious down at Sennen, near calm and prolonged humid sunshine (if sunshine can be humid, which it can't) meant it felt very warm. (Car thermometer showed 19-20C on arrival, 17C in the mist over the hills). A liitle uplift meant cliff top fog, and then low cloud, which covered much of the land. Just sunny intervals in Penzance (maximum 19.6C) but out at Sennen.
The low cloud base , semi stransparent Sc dissipating offshore (seaward, descending edge of sea breeze circulation?) before cloud reforming as the air ascendded the cliffs. This meant sunny on the beach, but most flights cancelled from Lands End airport at cliff top level.
Just the right sized swell for me now I'm not quite the man I used to be.
Been some lovely sunshine out on Scilly as well
Beautiful day.
