West Cornwall - Sunshine returns after a blip. Dust fall

A rather disappointing day yesterday. Largely cloudy with some light showery rain in the afternoon. A maximum of 13.1C making it the coldest day since 12.4C on 20th. More showers overnight giving a total of 3.2mm of rain, the first measurable rain since 12th. Quite large amounts of dust deposited in the rain. T

Prolonged sunshine today, combined with light winds, making it feel pleasantly warm. Maximum of 15.3C. Still very hazy though. 

A few days back it rather looked like there might be extended cold spell down here in the far south west, with the northerly being followed by a cold easterly. I'm very pleased to say the Azores ridge now looks like it may establish itself across the SW.
