We have a routine on Fridays. Wife Stella goes to the gym for an hour; in the meantime I go bird watching or just enjoy the scenery. We then meet in the Harbour Cafe. This Friday was a sparkling sunny day and the cafe was almost empty - it's usually very busy. This was anything like 'good weather' for the owners Jamie and Jo.
It reminded me of a wonderful illustrated story that my children loved. A family went to the seaside with buckets and spades - but it was blowing a gale with horizontal rain. So they went to a cafe. In the story, little lad piped up: "It really is windy. Look at that man. His hair has blown away". The man was bald!
