Camborne, not renowned for being one of the sunnier spots in Cornwall, has now passed 200 hours of this month, up until 6pm yesterday. That's quite an achievement considering the 1st 10 days.
Reached 20.0C in Penzance yesterday. John Chappell's Land End site reached 21.5C (The 1st 20C+ of the year) before a sea breeze kicked in and know >4C off in <15 minutes.
With all the sun, often rather breezy conditions, and no rain for 17 days, patches of the lawn are starting to turn brown YES!!
No clouds or large waves to report so a picture of the Mount around 19:30 yesterday.
This has been a quiet Spring, visitor wise. After the utter madness and hideous rudeness of the hordes that descended immediately post COVID period it's absolute bliss. I can only assume, and hope, that they are back in Magaluf never to return. Many places shut rather than put up with them. I mean, I thought Newquay on a hen night was bad, everything gets put into perspective. We have normal people again, as usual mainly from the north & midlands, dope smoking surfers, and plenty from China. All good.
