It's not surprising that the showers off East Anglia are packing a little bit more punch than usual as they move W'SW onto the coast of Eastern England with SST anomalies >+1.5°C.

The batch that's coming into Kent at the moment look quite potent.

Still seeing plenty of hardy souls swimming in Whitstable which might be testament to the anomalously warm temperatures...
