A bit milder night last night with some rain, temperature around 3-4C most of the night.
Then, as a 'dangler was more established overhead, the temperature progressively fell to a mininmum of 1.2C in a snow shower at 11am. Real snow flakes for a vhange.
Similar temperature profile at Lands End.
Back up to 4.5C by noon, probably peak around 6C. The SST is still close to 11C off Lands End.
The last proper snow in the far SW, 9th Feb 2021. It's been a long time.

Just a few light rain showers here yesterday and unbroken sunshine all day. Made for some rather slippery surfaces this morning after a sharp frost.
Last snowfall here was the Beast from the East on March 1st 2018, as shown in the photo below.

1st air frost this winter last night, -0.8C. Very light offshore wind (mainly NW-W)

-2.0°C here in my Stevenson screen last night.
But that's the end of the cold snap for us thankfully.
Back to a fresh southwestery and 7°C.
