October
The 3rd warmest October on record after 14.5C in 2001 & 14.3C in 2006.  For the first time on record (since 1991), that every day reached 15C. There was a complete lack of a cold spell. There was also a lack of a dry spell, the whole month was basically mild & unsettled.

Right at the end of the month the weather got a lot more exciting:-
30th Torrential bursts of rain, large hail & thunder between 08:15 & 09:00.

31st  A rapid increase in wind speed during the evening just behind a cold front (sting jet?). Gusts to 75mph at Lands End, where the mean wind speed briefly reached F10 & to 91mph at Gwennap Head. Gusts to 54mph in Penzance, the 2nd strongest of 2022 after 58mph on 18th February. The Penlee Lifeboat was called out to rescue several from a stricken yacht off Porthleven. Many people were caught out by the sudden onset, and complete lack of warning

At around 9pm 700 properties in west Cornwall were without power. Several trees down. During the morning of 1st November there were no trains in or out of Penzance due to signalling damage.

With thunder & a severe gale, October went out with a bang.
