Penzance - June 2022
June was the 8th consecutive month with rainfall below the 1991-2020 norm.

On 18th thunderstorms were nearby much of the afternoon. Thunder audible in Penzance, on and off, from 17:00-19:00. Two close flashes. Very gusty winds associated with these storms. One severe gust brought down part of a tree partially blocking the Marazion by pass just 400m or so ahead of me! Rainfall amounts associated with these storms were not large, 4.7mm in total.

26th-29th Depressions  in mid Atlantic meant some big seas for the time of year, notably 26th & 29th.
