13 cm just measured.  Unexpectedly heavy.  I can hear large tree branches breaking off in the woods on Wenlock Edge over half a mile away.PXL_20241119_075302674.jpgPXL_20241119_075129805.jpg

I'm a little envious.

Very different to here, though it is down to around 8.5C now. It's been very windy though, up to near 50mph at Land's End, and plenty of rain in the early hours and the morning. Up to 20mm  for the event by noon. Much brighter since 14:00, and less windy.

Here in Cholsey the rain turnmed to snow about 7:45am, but it only settles on cars and grass - roads and paths were just wet. Not many about when I went for my morning perambulation, wusses, the lot of them! Down to -3°C this morning - cars will need scraping!

I see from your webcams you've still got a decent cover of snow surviving the sunshine, helped by a sub zero dewpoint.

Yes it's still about 6 cm.  Mostly melted off the lanes during the day, but it's a hellish skating rink now, with air temp -4 and grass temp -8.  Most of the depth loss is down to compaction with some melting from underneath (30cm temp was still +9 this morning).
