Yes it's wet out there, but do we really need to be told this?

  • Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
I'm
e to be I expect to be told next time it's foggy that I might not be able to see far, and if I'm told one more time that spray might affect visibility in the morning rush . . . People who are really affected by adverse weather barely get a mention , but if you're some middle manager commuting, you clearly haven't got a brain, therefore need reminding to turn the windscreen wipers on. Strangely, near the coast, we never get told that visibility might be affected by spray in a severe NW gale, perhaps it's known we've got more than 1 brain cell and can work it out, unlike a supercomputer.

Don't forget tiled floors might get slippy.

Oh, I thought James at Glastonbury were superb, another LP bought.

"Out there" is it?  You only need to worry when it's wet "in here".  I had to get a plumber - it was a non-meteorological fault.

Matey lingo doesn't improve a forecast and is rather patronising.
