The forecast was spot on.
If you look very carefully, you might just see a blue patch. It didn’t come to anything. The sailor didn’t get his new trousers:-) Tmax 14.5C

Another take on the Moray Firth ‘hole’. 10th May.
This is looking due west: the wind was from the southwest so that shower was destined to miss in any case. But it just fizzled it drifted off the mountains and it remained dry here all day.
Note the green colour of the sea – quite accurately reproduced in the photo.
