The north coast was plagued by fog today, holding the temperature close to the SST (14C).
Away from that fringe, it's been glorious, >20C even up at Cudrose, Near 22C in Penzance. This large temperature difference between coasts is not uncommon in spring. One of the reasons why, when the weather in Penzance is like this.

It's a bit annoying when Camborne is used for Penzance recent weather. So go to the Penzance forecast, click recent weather and you get this.
Just the 8C or so out.
It a really is a serious mistake to use north coast locations for recent weather on the south, it should never be done. Sadly, there is no longer official weather from any low level location on the south Cornwall coast, but even Culdrose would be a lot better fit. A fair bit breezier, and a little cooler, but a vast improvement.
Lovely down at the pool, it'll be packed tomorrow as the hoards are now arriving.
