65 mm here Len, so far. My October average is 85 mm making it one of the wettest months of the year, beaten by November.

Eveything is sopping/soggy/damp/boggy

64.8mm here up until 09:00 on 23rd, but we've had plenty since.

The front that gave Scilly >40mm during the early hours of 23rd, finally reached us during the afternoon & dumped 9.0mm. Another 20.2mm last night, well most fell late evening when it was torrential for a while.

Total now up 94.0mm, 1991-2020 average is 128.1mm. We are now well into our wet season.

So not dry any more.

Meanwhile in the Wales rain shadow we have had just over 107 mm.  Locations N and E of here have had more than that.  Friday was like being back in the Rhondda!

129.8 mm in south Shropshire - 153% of average.  The wettest month I have recorded in this location, but my record isn't very long (40 months).
