Brussels on Thursday 24th July 2025

Cloudy at first but brighter from mid-morning with broken cloud and sunshine.  Cloudy again from mid-afternoon, with frequent rumbles of thunder between about 16.15 and 17.00 local time, accompanied by a brief shower around 17.00.  Brighter again through the evening with sunny intervals.  Seasonal normal temperature.  Light NW to N wind became variable during the afternoon; light SW to W wind in the evening.

Late afternoon thunderstorm much more severe in the centre and south of Brussels than here.  20.2 mm rain at Uccle in the hour to 18.00 local time, with traffic disruption through flooding in city centre road tunnels.
