We went into fog about 5am, then at 6:30am we had a thunderstorm with a a peak intensity of 41.4mm/hr and 14mm measured in about 30 minutes. However, what was unusual (to me at least) the temperature flatlined at 17°C, and there was no wind, just heavy rain. All quiet now here in Cholsey.
