Salt spray haze - West Cornwall.

Atmospheric lighting today with sunshine and the air full of slat spray. 

St Michael's Mount 11am.

Even on the north coast visibility much the same, 5-6 miles or so. Cape Cornwall just visible from Sennen (4 miles). Forecast visibilty excellent again!. The water you are struggling to see through contains salt and therefore doesn't count.  Camborne's reporting Good, though it must be near the M / G border. It was reporting mist earlier, but I suspect it was the thickness of the salt spray haze. Culdrose reporting M to G.

This photo, also taken this morning, does a better job of showing how salt spray impacts the excellent visibility forecast, and it normally takes days to clear. Penlee point in the distance, is about 4 miles away.
