I often see Sheep reacting to the effects of wind, or rain, by sheltering to the lee of a stone wall or a hedge.
Migrating Geese know when the winds are favourable, or at least when not adverse.
Our cat usually comes in when it rains.
But can these animals see the adverse conditions approaching?
Do Cows really lie down if they realise that rain is on the way? Can animals actually foresee what the weather has in store? Or do they simply respond to events?
