A pesky sheet of SC which has been edging in from the far west for most of the day has spoiled what had been a beautiful day in mid Devon till around 5 pm. I notice that its been followed up by 7/8 of stratus base 300 feet at Plymouth in the 1600 UTC obs, must be from the warm front temp 19.6 dewpoint 18.5°C.

Yes Bruce.
Cloudy almost all day here.
Plenty of diffuse solar but only had about half an hour of direct solar at around 4.30 pm.
Max reached was 20.2C
RH above 90%.
