09 UTC 6 December- raking light highlights cloud features associated with a number of jet streaks:
1) a jet streak over the North Sea associated with a frontal wave.
2) a jet streak over the Celtic Sea associated with a short wave trough and surface cold front crossing Ireland.
3) a jet streak west of Ireland, GFS has multiple maxima associated with dual tropopause anomalies (dark blue shades in WV/IR blended imagery).
The frontal wave exiting eastern England is engaged with a filamentary short wave feature (blue shades) extending NEwards from Biscay and marked as an upper cold front over the UK and marked as an upper cold front on the 06 UTC ASXX.
