VP2 Communication error?

I had to disconnect everything in my 'den', internet the lot, but when I reconnected my Davis VP2 to the router > router to PC it's coming up with a communication error.

'Function to retieve data through TCP/IP protocol from the device timed out'

When I go to Setup > Communctions Port>Test, it then says ' ERROR: Cannot establish connection since port is already in use. Please disconnect the device and connect it again'.

I've tried the usual reboot the PC and reboot the router but still the same error. The local ID device looks correct, but normally it word be 'blank' I beleive if it was communicating correctly.

Any ideas?

If you don't get any joy here, there's plenty of VP2 experts on the Cumulus MX forum who would probably be able to help.

I think I've sorted it, new day, fresh mind.

In the chaos yesterday it looks like the IP connector in the back of the VP2 console had disconnected, I've just pulled it out, given it a clean and put it back in again. Just downloaded back to WeatherLink, although data finished 19:45 yesterday evening.
