Some quite heavy snow late morning, which settled just behind Penzance despite the temperature being in the 1.5C to 2.5C range.
This afternoon, after 2 or 3 hours of steady thaw, it was still quite white. Approx 3 miles behind Penzance on the road to St Just.
1st snow for 3 years.
