Stuck in today with perhaps no more than about 3 centimetres of snow (or as those wonderful converters might say: no more than about 1.181103 inches!)
I am quite happy driving on snow but walking to and from the car is a risk. At my advanced age of 85, the last thing I want is a fall and a broken hip. So, a couple of indoor photos.
The camera is for time-lapse.

Quite right Jack. You live in a dangerous place as regards cold weather.

No snow here on SW Devon coast although Storm Irene may caress the south coast tonight and give a few sleety flakes.

One day they'll decide not to name a depression, that'll be a novelty!
Actually, the MetO did very well predicting the position of this mornings dangler, and predicted snow showers in just the right place, at the right time. Already up to +2.5C (11am)
