The sun came out nicely around lunchtme yesterday, and it was very pleasant along sheltered parts of the south coast. 16.2C maximum here in Penzance.

After a light shower 10:00am it's been dry with good spells of sunshine today, back up >16C - I haven't checked the final maximum yet.

Hayle around 11AM, wind dropped away in the sunshine.

Clouding over more now (15:30)

I've much preferred the recent changeable conditions to the preceeding anticyclonic gloom. Temperatures have been above normal most of the time, the 23rd the only cold day with a maximum 12.3C. 2nd coldest day was15th at 13.8C.

So far this month 67% of normal rainfall, temperature anomaly +1.1C

Mazimum today 15.9C, so a touch down on yesterday, despite rather more sunshine & lighter winds.

Aye Graham, it was a grand day.

Maximum here of 17.7°C (up a degree on yesterday) which necessitated a snooze in the sunshine. It felt warm despite the breezy conditions.

Nearly nine hours of sunshine. Rainfall this month at 45.0 mm which is a little over half (October is on average one of the wettest months of the year here).
