The high humidity, sunshine and sea breezes of today created some interesting effect.
Cliff Top fog. Completely clear the opposite side of the Bay, sunny on the beach, but as the wind rose up the north faces cliffs of the cove.
Looking through the cliff top fog.
The sea breeze came in brief spurts, as is often the case. The onset is typically sudden, it then slow ly weakens, then another sudden onset. You can often see it before it arrives by a sharp edge of 'ruffled' water heading for the beach - and you can feel the temperature drop as it arrives! It can be accompanied by a 'roll' of sea fog, as today at Sennen.
I've posted this before, but an extreme example at Lands End. Associated with the onset of a notherly breeze rounding Lands End. An extreme example.
