A small wave on the north coast. Sennen at 16:00. Just about on high tide.
Even getting out through the groundswell to get to the breaking waves (6-8') was a challenge which defeated most. You can just see one head in the water in the foreground, and another surfer given it some thought in the middle distance.
Lifeguard in the foreground keeping a close eye on things. Not quite red flag conditions.
The ridges / troughs in the sand are related to the dominant wavelength (period).
