Anywhere in the north coast sea fog is likely to be near 10C colder than parts of the south coast, where the wind remains offshore, by this afternoon. It all depends whether it sticks around.

Even by 08:30 it was 15C in Camborne 19C at Culdrose.

The cloud dispersed by noon yesterday, but temperatures here not far from normal. Max of 20.8C. It'll certainly be warmer today.

I went to Camborne this morning, and when I arrived at 11:30 the car thermometer showed 21C and it was sunny. The Camborne station showed 17C and mist, which was correct. The official station is in a valley the sea breeze & fog funnels up.  Camborne figures are used for recent 'Penzance weather, which is madness really. In this case they weren't much use for Camborne itself.

Very much a tale of 2 coasts.

Maximum of 23.1C in Penzance, we did have an intermittent sea breeze.

The north coast fog has now largely lifted to low cloud, and is reaching further inland, in fact signs of it now approaching Penzance as the NW breeze has started to pick up. Change to fresher conditions imminent.
